How it works
One job, start to finish, in nine steps.
From a QR scan at 9pm to a sent invoice the next afternoon.
This is what a switchboard upgrade looks like inside Voltline, from the enquiry landing to the money going out the door.
- 1
A customer scans the QR code on the van at 9pm and submits a switchboard upgrade request.
- 2
The owner's phone buzzes with a push notification and the office manager gets an SMS.
- 3
Next morning the request is reviewed, the address tidied, urgency set to High, and accepted — creating the customer record and a scheduled job.
- 4
The dispatcher assigns it on the job board; the electrician's phone notifies them.
- 5
The electrician accepts, taps "on the way" and sends the customer an ETA text.
- 6
On site they open Google Maps for the last leg, photograph the old board, start the job, log three hours of labour and pull the breakers and cable they used from the material catalogue.
- 7
They photograph the finished board, have the customer sign on the screen and mark the job complete.
- 8
The office opens the completed job, builds the invoice from the site log — labour, materials, GST, payment terms, bank details — and sends the branded PDF.
- 9
The job files under this month's completed work, the customer gains a full history, and the numbers land on the dashboard.
Your next job could start in Voltline.
Set your business up in six steps, add your crew, share your request link, and run the whole job — schedule, site log, signature and invoice — in one place.
