Electricians sign in with a personal code and see only their own assigned work. Each job opens to the customer details, a Google Maps link for the last leg, a "Send ETA text" button, camera photo capture, the site log for hours and materials, job notes and a signature pad for the customer at completion. Moving the job through the stages updates the office board instantly.

Import a wholesaler list once, and the crew picks real items at real prices on site.

Inventory is your own material catalogue. Add items by hand or import a wholesaler price list from CSV — Voltline reads the common column names for item, SKU and cost automatically. Each item carries a name, SKU or catalogue code, unit cost and supplier. The catalogue is what the crew picks from in the on-site material picker, so what lands on the job — and then on the invoice — is always a real item at a real price.

In-app, web push and SMS — with editable message templates and per-recipient toggles.

Three notification channels, all configurable. An in-app bell badges new requests, assignments and status changes. Web push reaches the phone even when the app is closed. SMS goes to as many recipients as you like, each with their own per-event toggles, so the owner gets everything and the office manager only gets new requests. SMS templates are edited in Settings with a live preview using sample data.

Voltline is a progressive web app. From the Workspace screen, the install button walks you through adding it to your home screen with instructions matched to your device — the share menu on iPhone, the install prompt on Android. Once installed it opens full screen like a native app, keeps you signed in until you deliberately sign out, and updates itself silently in the background, so the crew is never running an old version.

Sign in / access

Two ways in — one for the office, one for the van.

Email and password for owners and admins, a personal code for the crew.

Owners and admins sign in with email and password; a forgot-password link emails a reset, and the password rules — minimum length, upper and lower case, and a number — show live as you type. Electricians sign in with a personal code created for them by the office, reusable until it's deleted, which means no crew email addresses to manage and no shared logins. "Forgot your code" sends it back to the phone number or email on the member's record. Sessions persist: installed on a phone home screen, Voltline stays signed in until the person deliberately signs out.
